WWF at the Legislature

We was hard at work this legislative session, 2017. We tracked all wildlife-related bills, attended committee meetings, spoke directly to legislators, and provided official comment on behalf of our members and in support of WWF’s mission. We also worked on behalf of the Wyoming Sportsmen’s Alliance (eight groups, 30,000 members strong).

HB 0293 – Public lands extension (pdf) – Miller – Assigned bill number on 1/30. This bill amends wording to (W.S. 36 12 102(b)) an old law on State Control of Certain Land and also amends the effective date, now reads July 1, 2017. It has one other sponsor, Rep. Halverson. If this goes to a committee we will rally against it with our members. It could have serious consequences if it passes. – KILLED
